This Batch 4 from That Boutique-y Whisky Company, in its At The Movies series, is a Nc’nean matured in a shaved, toasted and recharred red wine cask.

The recharred red wine wood gave the young spirit red berry, dried fruit and a chocolate depth, its caramelised surface working fast.

At 60.1% it shows chocolate, dried fruit, fresh fruit, honey and a nutty note, undiluted. A red wine cask Boutique-y.
