Littlemill 32 Years Old 1988 Legends (Hart Brothers)

The Hart family has selected and bottled Scotch from Glasgow since the 1960s. This 32 year old Littlemill came off the stills in 1988 and was bottled in 2020, from the Legends Collection range. Few bottles, a silent distillery and a great age together make this a genuine collector's piece.

From Oloroso, thirty-two years lend their character to the light, clean Littlemill make.

At 51.5%, undiluted, the sherry cask adds dried fruit and nutmeg. The Lowland softness shows, floral and lightly fruity. The Oloroso cask carries more tannin and residual sherry, lending dried fruit and walnut, its melanoidins giving fig and raisin. Long maturation has cost the cask dearly to the angels, easing the alcohol and leaving a deeper, concentrated spirit.
