Littlemill 23 Years Old 1989 Cask #16215 (Glen Fahrn)

Glen Fahrn is an independent bottler. Distilled in 1989, this 23 year old Littlemill, from cask 16215 was bottled in 2012, part of the Airline Edition No. 16 series. Silent since 1992 and demolished in 2005, Littlemill exists now only in the casks that remain.

Twenty-three years of ex-Bourbon soften the fine, fruity Littlemill make.

Bottled undiluted at 52.9%, the bourbon wood lends vanilla and a clean oak edge. It carries citrus, a hay-like note. Wood sugars from the caramelised hemicellulose give a light toffee, while lignin yields the vanillin behind the vanilla.
