Littlemill 18 Years Old 1991 Cask #LD 6601 (Douglas of Drumlanrig)

Douglas of Drumlanrig, a Laing family label, bottles individual casks. Filled in 1991 and bottled in 2010, the whisky is an 18 year old Littlemill, from cask LD 6601. Littlemill can never be made again, so each cask emptied is one fewer forever.

Eighteen years in ex-Bourbon lend a light oak frame to the light, clean Littlemill make.

Bottled at 46%, the ex-Bourbon gives vanilla and a creamy oak. Expect leather. The bourbon cask's lactones read as coconut and the lignin vanillin as vanilla, gentle on a light Lowland spirit.
