Littlemill 22 Years Old 1992 (Small Batch)

Cadenhead's bottles in the old style, without colour or chill filtration, a habit kept since 1842. Distilled in 1992 and bottled in 2014, this is a 22 year old Littlemill. The stocks are finite and dwindling, a closed distillery's legacy measured out cask by cask.

Twenty-two years of ex-Bourbon soften its buttery, honeyed Lowland style.

At its natural 53.7%, soft vanilla and oak come from the ex-Bourbon. Expect dried fruit, a fragrant note, fresh fruit, a glasshouse note, a leafy lift, an oily texture. In the ex-Bourbon cask, lignin breaks down to vanillin for the vanilla note, while oak lactones lend a soft coconut sweetness.
