Description

Cadenhead's was founded in Aberdeen in 1842 and is Scotland's oldest independent bottler, now based in Campbeltown. This 24 year old Littlemill was distilled in 1991 and bottled in 2015. A finite legacy from a vanished distillery, growing rarer with each bottling.

Held in ex-Bourbon for twenty-four years, the oak settles the light, clean Littlemill make.

At its natural 50.8%, the bourbon cask lends vanilla and creamy fudge. The profile runs to fresh fruit. In the ex-Bourbon cask, lignin breaks down to vanillin for the vanilla note, while oak lactones lend a soft coconut sweetness.
