Littlemill 30 Years Old

A 30 Year Old labelled 100% Single Malt, an older release of mature Littlemill at the gentle 40%. Three decades of the lost distillery's light Lowland spirit, from a site distilling since 1772.

Thirty years in ex-Bourbon matured the soft Lowland make, the low-tannin oak giving vanillin slowly while oxidation built fruit; three decades of angel's share in a humid warehouse have eased the strength to 40%, the floor for whisky.

It shows the worn Lowland softness of great age, vanilla and orchard fruit over a gentle oak frame. A mature 30, from a distillery that no longer exists.
