Description

This Single Cask is a 6 year old from 2019, matured in a Port cask, number 19/1996. A small outturn of 125 bottles. Kilchoman, founded by Anthony Wills in 2005, is Islay's only farm distillery.

Kilchoman handles malting through bottling on its own Islay farm. Matured in a single Port cask, the wine wood adds plum and cherry.

Bottled at its natural cask strength of 57.4%. The Port gives plum and cherry with a jammy sweetness while peat phenols carry the smoke. A young Port single cask.
