Description

This An T-Earrach 2025 spring release of Kilchoman's Uniquely Islay Series is a 9 year old from 2016 matured in ex-Bourbon with Port, drawn from cask 16/936. An outturn of 232 bottles for Europe. Kilchoman is Islay's only farm distillery, the first new distillery on the island in over 124 years when Anthony Wills founded it in 2005.

At Rockside Farm the whole process runs from barley to bottle on one site. Matured in a single ex-Bourbon and Port cask, the wine wood adds a plummy note.

Bottled at its natural cask strength of 54.4%. The ex-Bourbon gives vanilla, the Port plum and cherry, while peat phenols carry the smoke. A Port spring single cask from the seasonal series.
