Kilchoman Uniquely Islay Series – An Geamhradh 2022 6 Years Old 2016

An Geamhradh 2022 is the winter release of Kilchoman's Uniquely Islay Series, a 6 year old from 2016 matured in ex-Bourbon with Port, drawn from cask 903. An outturn of 253 bottles for Europe. Kilchoman is the only farm distillery on Islay, founded by Anthony Wills in 2005.

Kilchoman handles malting through bottling on its own Islay farm. Matured in a single ex-Bourbon and Port cask, the wine wood adds a plummy note.

Bottled at its natural cask strength of 57.6%. The ex-Bourbon gives vanilla, the Port plum and cherry, while peat phenols carry the smoke. A Port winter single cask from the seasonal series.
