Description

This An T-Earrach 2022 spring release of Kilchoman's Uniquely Islay Series is an 8 year old from 2014 matured in ex-Bourbon with Oloroso, drawn from cask 977. An outturn of 243 bottles for Germany. Kilchoman is the only farm distillery on Islay, founded by Anthony Wills in 2005.

At Rockside Farm the whole process runs from barley to bottle on one site. Matured in a single ex-Bourbon and Oloroso cask, the sherry adds a dried-fruit layer.

Bottled at its natural cask strength of 57.3%. The ex-Bourbon gives vanilla, the Oloroso dried fruit, while peat phenols carry the smoke. A spring single cask from the seasonal series.
