Description

This Single Cask was bottled for Drankdozijn, the Dutch retailer, a 7 year old from 2013, ex-Bourbon cask 490. An outturn of 254 bottles. Kilchoman, founded by Anthony Wills in 2005, is the only farm distillery on Islay.

The distillery malts its own barley and bottles on the farm. Matured in a single ex-Bourbon cask over seven years, the wood frames the peated spirit.

Bottled at its natural cask strength of 56.9%. Citrus and vanilla rise from the ex-Bourbon cask while peat phenols bring the smoke. A bourbon single cask for a Dutch retailer.
