Description

This Single Cask was bottled in support of the Islay Pipe Band, a 5 year old from 2010 matured in ex-Bourbon with Pedro Ximenez, cask 681. An outturn of 270 bottles for the UK. Kilchoman, founded by Anthony Wills in 2005, is the island's only farm distillery.

Every stage from malting to bottling happens at Rockside Farm. Matured in a single ex-Bourbon and Pedro Ximenez cask, the PX adds a sweet dark fruit.

Bottled at its natural cask strength of 58.8%. The ex-Bourbon gives vanilla, the Pedro Ximenez raisin and date from its melanoidins, while peat phenols carry the smoke. A young single cask for the island pipe band.
