Description

This Bourbon Matured Single Cask is a 10 year old from 2009, ex-Bourbon cask 10. An outturn of 232 bottles for Germany. The Wills family's Kilchoman, founded in 2005, is the only farm distillery on Islay.

The distillery malts its own barley and bottles on the farm. Matured in a single ex-Bourbon cask over ten years, the wood frames the peated spirit.

Bottled at its natural cask strength of 54.3%. The cask gives vanilla and citrus, and peat phenols carry the smoke through. The recorded notes run to citrus, fresh fruit and vanilla. A bourbon single cask.
