This Single Cask Release is an 11 year old from 2008, ex-Bourbon cask 327. An outturn of 233 bottles. Founded by Anthony Wills in 2005 at Rockside Farm, Kilchoman is the only farm distillery on Islay.
Kilchoman handles malting through bottling on its own Islay farm. Matured in a single ex-Bourbon cask over eleven years, the wood deepens the peated spirit.
Bottled at its natural cask strength of 55.4%. Citrus and vanilla rise from the ex-Bourbon cask while peat phenols bring the smoke. An older bourbon single cask.
