Description

This Single Cask was bottled for the Belgian market, a 3 year old from 2007, ex-Bourbon cask 334. An outturn of 264 bottles. Kilchoman is Islay's only farm distillery, the first new distillery on the island in over 124 years when Anthony Wills founded it in 2005.

The distillery malts its own barley and bottles on the farm, a barley to bottle approach. Matured in a single ex-Bourbon cask, the wood frames the very young peated spirit.

Bottled at its natural cask strength of 62.4%. Vanilla and citrus come from the ex-Bourbon, the peat phenols driving the smoke. A young early single cask for Belgium.
