Description

This Single Cask was bottled for WIN, Whisky Import Nederland, a 3 year old from 2007, ex-Bourbon cask 120. An outturn of 264 bottles for the Netherlands. Kilchoman, founded by Anthony Wills in 2005, is the island's only farm distillery.

At Rockside Farm the whole process runs from barley to bottle on one site. Matured in a single ex-Bourbon cask, the wood frames the very young peated spirit.

Bottled at its natural cask strength of 61.8%. The ex-Bourbon gives vanilla while peat phenols drive the smoke. The recorded notes run to a mossy earthiness, fresh oak and smoke. A young single cask for a Dutch importer.
