Xaoma Gold is produced in Kazakhstan by JSC Kokshetau mineral water, a name that points to where its character comes from: the water as much as the grain. The base is a selected grain spirit distilled several times and then carefully filtered, a process that pulls out heavier congeners and leaves a soft, harmonious texture. Bottled at 40%, it carries a light cereal sweetness and a gentle mineral thread that gives it a little more interest than a flat neutral vodka.

The nose is mild and fresh with subtle cereal notes, the palate soft and clean with that faint mineral lift, and the finish is long, smooth and clearly drawn. Because it keeps a quiet grain character rather than disappearing entirely, it is well suited to a Vodka Tonic built tall over ice with a twist of lemon, where the tonic's bitterness frames the cereal note instead of burying it.
