Description
Villa Sandi makes this Il Fresco Rosé under the Prosecco DOC rules that admit a portion of Pinot Noir alongside Glera, the red grape lending colour and red-fruit character. As a Millesimato it comes from the single 2025 vintage. Made by the tank method, with the second fermentation in pressure tanks, the wine keeps its primary berry and floral aromatics fresh rather than developing bready depth. The Extra Dry dosage leaves a gentle fruit sweetness that suits the fresh, primary-fruited style.
The wine is a pale pink with a fine, lively bead. The nose shows strawberry, raspberry and white peach over a floral rose note. The palate is fresh and softly fruited, the mousse fine, with red berry fruit and a clean, lively finish. Serve well chilled at 6 to 8 degrees in a white wine glass. It works as an aperitif and alongside light poultry, summer salads and fruity desserts.
