Tullamore D.E.W. is the blended Irish whiskey that carries the initials of Daniel E. Williams and the name of the Co. Offaly town where the brand was born. This no age statement bottling was released for an event at 43%, a touch above the standard strength.
The blend brings together all three Irish whiskey styles, pot still, malt and grain, matured in ex-bourbon casks that give vanilla and light toffee. Triple distilled in the Irish manner, it keeps to the house signature of soft green apple, citrus and a gentle, approachable texture. An everyday style rather than a heavy, sherried one.
