Description
Tullamore D.E.W. is the blended whiskey named for Daniel E. Williams, whose initials sit in the brand, and long associated with the town of Tullamore in Co. Offaly. This eight year old was bottled for an event and marries Ireland's three whiskey styles, pot still, malt and grain.
Matured in ex-bourbon casks, the blend follows the house signature: a gentle, triple distilled character of green apple, citrus and light toffee, with grain whiskey keeping the texture soft. The eight years of aging round off the edges without heavy oak. An easygoing style built for approachability rather than intensity.
