Description
The Dubliner is the entry blend from The Dublin Liberties Distillery, which opened on Mill Street in 2019 in the old Liberties quarter, once the most whiskey soaked square mile in the world. This is the 2021 bottling for the global market, a 3 Years Old blend of malt and grain whiskeys.
Ex-bourbon casks do the maturing here, lending vanilla and honey sweetness to a light spirit with green apple and pear brightness from the malt and a soft toffee note from the grain. Bottled at 40%, it keeps things soft and rounded, a mixable, sessionable Irish blend that still shows the clean fruit character Dublin whiskey was always loved for.
