Schönbrunn Sisi Frizzante

Vienna Spirits presents this Sisi Frizzante as its white lightly sparkling wine, an Austrian bottling made for uncomplicated drinking through the day. As a Frizzante with added carbon dioxide it is made in a tank based style, with careful handling that keeps the flavours clean and the mousse soft, preserving fresh primary fruit over any bready complexity. The imperial Sisi branding ties it to the Schönbrunn theme.

The colour is straw yellow with green reflections and a fine bead. The nose is lightly spicy, with quince and pineapple over a hint of vanilla. On the palate crisp orchard fruit meets a lively structure and fine bubbles, the finish refreshing and long. Serve chilled at 6 to 8 degrees in a white wine glass. It makes a classic aperitif for receptions and brunches and is a good foil for light desserts such as a fruit tart or sponge, as well as canapés, light starters and mild cheeses.
