Patrón Tequila Silver

Patrón Silver is the unaged blanco of the Patrón house, distilled in Jalisco at Hacienda Patrón in Atotonilco and now owned by Bacardi. It is a 100% Blue Weber agave tequila, the clearest expression in the range, where Silver simply denotes the Tequila Blanco class rather than any filtering. The distillery is unusual at its scale for running a blend of stone tahona and roller mill extraction across dozens of small copper pots.

With no cask weight in the way, the agave and citrus come forward: grapefruit and lime over clean cooked agave, with a soft finish that carries a light note of earth and leaves a fresh mouthfeel. The brand is producer additive-free and now carries the CRT verification seal. It is bottled at 40%.
