Mortlach Single Malt

This official bottling comes from Mortlach itself. Mortlach is Speyside's great meaty malt, its 1823 Dufftown stillhouse using worm tubs and a 2.81 distillation that defies the region's lighter norm.

Ex-Bourbon maturation framed Mortlach's weighty make, the low-tannin oak lending vanilla over the savoury core as oxidation slowly began.

At 40% it shows honey, dried fruit and a leathery depth on Mortlach's muscular frame. A meaty, muscular Mortlach.
