Mortlach 20 Years Old

This 20 Year Old is a distillery bottling of Mortlach. Mortlach is the Speyside outlier known as the Beast of Dufftown, its worm tubs and 2.81 distillation building a dense, sulphury, meaty spirit.

Across twenty years the oak's ellagitannins added structure while oxidation deepened the meaty spirit into cooked fruit and leather.

At 43.4% it shows honey, old wood, dried fruit, leather, vanilla and chocolate. A meaty, muscular Mortlach.
