This 20 Year Old is a distillery bottling of Mortlach. It draws on a 1978 vintage. The first legal distillery in Dufftown, Mortlach builds its meaty weight through low-copper worm tubs and the 2.81 distillation, and has anchored Johnnie Walker for a century.

Across twenty years the oak's ellagitannins added structure while oxidation deepened the meaty spirit into cooked fruit and leather.

At 62.2% it shows glasshouse and an oily texture, undiluted. Mortlach at full weight.
