Luc Belaire Bleu Editión Limitée

Luc Belaire BLEU is a limited edition from the French sparkling brand, produced in the south of France, particularly Provence, and named for the bright blue of the Cote d'Azur that its bottle echoes. The blend is 95% Chardonnay and 5% Pinot Noir, which gives the wine its light, fresh character and a little structure. It sits in a fruit-forward, lightly styled range, made to drink young and to work either on its own or as the base for a cocktail.

The colour is a bright light gold with a fine, long bead. The nose is fresh, with white peach, lemon zest and a touch of tropical fruit. The palate is light and balanced, with lively freshness, a subtle floral note and a fine minerality that lends structure, closing refreshing and long. Serve it well chilled in a white wine glass. It makes a fresh aperitif and suits delicate starters such as sushi, oysters and fresh salmon, along with light main courses such as poultry or grilled fish, and it also carries a fruit-forward cocktail.
