From Adelphi, the esteemed independent revived in the 1990s, this 17 Year Old is a 1992 vintage from ex-Bourbon cask 48431, a tiny outturn of 112 bottles.

Seventeen years in ex-Bourbon matured the weighty Longmorn make, the American oak contributing vanilla and a gentle coconut from its lactones.

At 53.6% it shows orchard fruit and a soft vanilla over Longmorn's body, undiluted. An Adelphi 17.
