From an ex-Bourbon cask, twenty-six years draw out its buttery, honeyed Lowland style.

Bottled at cask strength, 53.8%, vanilla and a gentle oak sweetness from the bourbon cask. Expect fresh fruit, a hay-like note, citrus, honey, vanilla, dried fruit. The refill ex-Bourbon gives up vanillin and lactones slowly, framing the light spirit with vanilla and coconut rather than swamping it. Decades of slow evaporation have softened the strength and concentrated the fruit, the price of great age in a damp warehouse.
