Littlemill 24 Years Old 1990 Cask #2243 (Hart Brothers)

Hart Brothers of Glasgow is a long-running independent, bottling since the 1960s. Filled in 1990 and bottled in 2015, the whisky is a 24 year old Littlemill, from cask 2243, from the Finest Collection range. Every release draws down a finite store that can never be replenished.

Twenty-four years in Oloroso layer the cask onto the creamy, vanilla-rich spirit.

At 53.1%, undiluted, the Oloroso brings sultana, walnut and warm spice. Expect chocolate, citrus, a mineral edge, fresh fruit. European oak is far more tannic than American, so the sherry cask builds structure and a dry, nutty grip beside its dried-fruit sweetness.
