Littlemill 22 Years Old 1992 Cask #43 (Archives)

Archives is the single-cask label of Whiskybase, the online database beloved of collectors. A 22 year old Littlemill, from cask 43, this was distilled in 1992 and bottled in 2014, in the Voyage dans l'Amérique Méridionale range. An outturn this small from a distillery that closed in 1994 puts it among the rarest Lowland whisky still available.

Aged twenty-two years in ex-Bourbon, the oak lifts the delicate Lowland spirit.

At its natural 46.7%, light vanilla and coconut from the American oak. It carries citrus. Furfural from the toasted oak lends a faint almond note, lignin the vanilla, the low tannins a soft frame.
