Littlemill 22 Years Old 1990 Cask #3045 (Duncan Taylor)

Duncan Taylor sits on one of Scotland's largest private cask collections, a legacy of its 1938 broking roots. Distilled in 1990, this 22 year old Littlemill, from cask 3045 was bottled in 2013, from The Duncan Taylor range. So few bottles and no possibility of more place this among the scarcest survivors of the Lowland's lost distilleries.

Ex-Bourbon and twenty-two years round the delicate Lowland spirit.

At its natural 53.5%, the American oak frames the fruit with vanilla. Expect chocolate, citrus, a glasshouse note, an oily texture, vanilla. Decades of slow oxidation turned the spirit's aldehydes to acids and then to fruity esters, the ex-Bourbon adding vanilla beneath.
