Littlemill 21 Years Old 1991 Cask #560 (A.D. Rattray)

A.D. Rattray traces its name to a firm established in 1868 and today releases single casks four times a year in its Cask Collection. This bottling is a 21 year old Littlemill, from cask 560, laid down in 1991 and drawn off in 2012, part of the Individual Cask Bottling series. The stocks are finite and dwindling, a closed distillery's legacy measured out cask by cask.

Held in ex-Bourbon for twenty-one years, the oak settles Littlemill's gentle Lowland character.

At 50.6%, undiluted, vanilla and a soft oak frame from the ex-Bourbon. Light and fragrant, the elegant Lowland signature throughout. Long oxidation coaxes fruity esters from the spirit, the ex-Bourbon's vanillin and lactones adding vanilla and coconut.
