Littlemill 20 Years Old 1983 Cask #2915 (Signatory)

Andrew Symington started Signatory Vintage in 1988, a hotel manager turned one of Scotland's busiest bottlers. The cask was filled in 1983 and bottled in 2004, a 20 year old Littlemill, from cask 2915, from the Vintage Collection - Dumpy range. Littlemill can never be made again, so each cask emptied is one fewer forever.

A bourbon barrel and twenty years settle the soft, floral Littlemill make.

At 49.5%, undiluted, the bourbon cask lends vanilla and creamy fudge. A delicate, floral character, silky and gently sweet. Hemicellulose in the toasted oak caramelises to a light butterscotch, lignin breakdown lending vanilla.
