Knockdhu anCnoc 35 Years Old (1st Release)

This 35 Years Old, distilled in 1975, is a Limited Edition anCnoc bottled in 2012, an outturn of 1,495 bottles. A rare old expression of Knockdhu distillery at Knock in Banffshire, named anCnoc to set it apart from Knockando.

Inver House restarted production in 1989. Matured in ex-Bourbon casks across thirty-five years, the wood deepened the malt over three and a half decades.

Bottled at 44.3%. From the ex-Bourbon come vanilla and coconut, its vanillin and oak lactones, with maltol for toffee. The recorded note is a medicinal edge over a waxy, aged depth. A rare old anCnoc.
