Description
This 2007 single cask is a 14 year old anCnoc drawn from ex-Bourbon cask 732 and bottled in 2021 for Poland, an outturn of 222 bottles. Near Knock in Banffshire, Knockdhu sells its malt as anCnoc to keep it distinct from Knockando. Dating from 1894, it is among the smallest distilleries in Scotland.
The stills came back into use in 1989. Over fourteen years the ex-Bourbon cask rounds the spirit into vanilla and gentle oak.
At cask strength, 50.2%. The ex-Bourbon lends vanilla and a soft coconut note. The profile runs to vanilla, cooked fruit and honey. A full-strength single-cask anCnoc.
