Description

This Single Cask Release is a 13 year old from 2010, ex-Bourbon cask 428, an older single cask for Poland. Kilchoman, founded by Anthony Wills in 2005, is the island's only farm distillery.

Kilchoman malts its barley on site and bottles on the farm, a barley to bottle approach rare in Scotch. Matured in a single ex-Bourbon cask over thirteen years, the wood deepens the peated spirit.

Bottled at its natural cask strength of 54.3%. Vanilla and citrus come from the ex-Bourbon wood, with peat phenols carrying the smoke. An older bourbon single cask for Poland.
