Kilchoman Single Cask Release 10 Years Old 2007

This Single Cask Release is a 10 year old from 2007, ex-Bourbon cask 12, an older single cask from the distillery's early years. A small outturn of 127 bottles for Scotland. Kilchoman, founded by Anthony Wills in 2005, was the first new distillery on Islay in over 124 years.

The distillery malts its own barley and bottles on the farm. Matured in a single ex-Bourbon cask over ten years, the wood frames the peated spirit.

Bottled at its natural cask strength of 54.7%. The ex-Bourbon lends vanilla and citrus, the peat phenols a layer of smoke. An older early-vintage single cask.
