Kilchoman Loch Gorm 2026 Edition

This is the 2026 Edition of Kilchoman Loch Gorm, a 10 year old matured fully in Oloroso sherry. Loch Gorm is the distillery's annual sherried release, named for the dark island loch near Rockside Farm. Kilchoman, founded by Anthony Wills in 2005, is Islay's only farm distillery.

The distillery grows and malts barley on site and bottles on the farm, the barley to bottle philosophy at its core. Matured in Oloroso casks across ten years, the sherry wood wraps the young peated spirit in dark fruit.

Bottled at 46%, non-chill-filtered and natural in colour. From the Oloroso come dried fruit and a fig-and-raisin depth, while peat phenols bring the smoke. The recorded notes run to citrus, a coal-gas mineral edge and dried fruit. The 2026 sherried Loch Gorm.
