Description
Ballinaby is a travel retail Kilchoman matured in ex-Bourbon, named for a place on Islay near the distillery. Kilchoman, founded by Anthony Wills in 2005, is the island's only farm distillery.
The distillery follows its barley from field to bottle on the one Islay farm. Matured in ex-Bourbon casks, the wood frames the young peated spirit with vanilla and citrus.
Bottled at 46%, non-chill-filtered and natural in colour. The ex-Bourbon gives vanilla and citrus while peat phenols carry the smoke. A clean, peated travel retail farm malt.
