José Cuervo 1800 Tequila Reposado

José Cuervo 1800 Reposado is the rested expression of the 1800 line, produced by the world's largest tequila maker at La Rojeña in the town of Tequila, the historic Beckmann family distillery. It is a 100% Blue Weber agave tequila, a clear step above the everyday Cuervo Especial mixto, offered as an accessible rested pour at a modest price.
The spirit rests six months in American and French oak, comfortably within the reposado class, which gives it a light golden colour and a gentle layer of wood over the agave. On the nose it shows caramel and orange, while the palate develops finer notes of marzipan and orange peel from the cask. Bottled at 38%, it stays soft and rounded, an easy rested tequila for sipping or building into cocktails.
