Ripe sloes pressed into the juniper give this one a deep, jammy fruitiness, edged with almond and a whisper of warming spice. Built on Hayman’s own London Dry and a family recipe that reaches back to the 1800s, it pours a deep ruby red. Sweet but never cloying, with a dry, lingering tail.

Description
Hayman's have been distilling in London for five generations, and this sloe gin draws on a recipe the family has kept since the 19th century. The method is the old-fashioned one: ripe sloe berries steeped slowly in their award-winning London Dry until the spirit takes on the fruit's colour and depth. There is no shortcut here, just patience and time, which is why it pours that unmistakable deep ruby red and carries such a velvety, full-bodied weight.
The nose opens on ripe sloes and red berries, with juniper holding steady underneath and a curl of almond on top. The palate is rounded and fruity, the natural sweetness of the sloes balanced against fine spice and the gin's own backbone. It finishes long and gently dry, with subtle almond and spice. Pour it over ice with tonic and a wedge of lemon for a proper British Sloe Gin and Tonic, or top with sparkling wine for a Sloe Royale.
