Cooked agave, lime and a clean mineral lift carry this blanco from Felipe Camarena’s El Pandillo, where stone ovens, a homemade tahona nicknamed Felipestein and a rainwater and spring water blend keep the floral, citrus side of the agave forward.

Description
G4 Tequila Blanco is a 100% Blue Weber blanco from El Pandillo in Jesus Maria, Los Altos, the highland distillery run by Felipe Camarena, fourth generation of the agave growing Camarena family and the reason the line carries the G4 name. It sits beside the same house's Terralta, and where Terralta leans mineral and earthy this one runs floral and citrus, driven in part by a production water that mixes harvested rainwater with spring water.
The pina is baked in a stone oven and crushed in a hand built metal tahona known as Felipestein, then twice distilled in copper. Bottled unaged at 40% with no additives, it shows the agave straight: cooked agave and baked sweet potato up front, fresh lime and a soft buttery note through the middle, and a bright, fragile, lightly herbal finish typical of clean highland blanco.
