G4 Tequila Reposado

G4 Tequila Reposado is a 100% Blue Weber reposado from El Pandillo in Jesus Maria, Los Altos, the highland distillery of Felipe Camarena, fourth generation of the Camarena family. It builds on the character of the G4 Blanco, adding six months in ex bourbon casks while keeping the brand's floral, citrus signature, distinct from the more mineral and earthy Terralta made at the same house.
The agave is baked in a stone oven, crushed in the hand built metal tahona known as Felipestein and twice distilled in copper, with production water blending harvested rainwater and spring water. Bottled at 40% with no additives, the short rest gives a soft, supple spirit: cooked agave joined by light peach and citrus, a quiet pepper, and just enough oak to round the edges without burying the agave.
