The Jewish Whisky Company bottles this Croftengea in its Single Cask Nation range, a heavily peated malt from Loch Lomond, a mature 18 year old from 2005, cask 266.

Eighteen years in ex-Bourbon soften the peat, the gentle American oak adding vanilla under the smoke.

At 50.6% it shows citrus, a yeasty note, fresh fruit, hay and a malty depth over the wood smoke, phenols and guaiacol driving the reek. A mature peated Croftengea.
