Bols Banana Liqueur

Bols Banana comes from Lucas Bols, the Amsterdam house distilling and blending liqueurs since 1575, built on high-quality alcohol and natural fruit essences to capture the flavour of ripe banana. Bottled at 17% in 70cl, it sits at the tropical end of the brand's fruit range. In the traditional fruit liqueur style the banana leads, softened by a hint of vanilla.

The nose is an intense banana flavour with a hint of fresh vanilla and a delicate sweetness, the palate fruity and round with a clear banana note unfolding gently and sweetly over a mild vanilla, the finish long and velvety with banana in full freshness. Its job in a glass is bright banana flavour and a creamy sweetness, which makes it a natural in a banana daiquiri or a tropical banana colada, and a fun accent in dessert and tiki serves. Pour it neat, over ice, or into a blended fruit cocktail. A reliable banana note for the back bar.
