Description
Topanito Agave Syrup is not a distilled spirit but a sweetener, a versatile agave syrup made entirely from blue Weber agave that ripens over six to eight years in the highlands of Jalisco. Only fully mature plants are used, and it comes from an organic certified producer in Mexico. With a density around 1.35, it carries a notably higher viscosity than many supermarket agave syrups.
That thicker body is the point. In a Tommy's Margarita or a modern agave cocktail it lends a smooth texture and an even, honeyed sweetness that integrates cleanly with the spirit. Beyond the bar it works as an everyday sweetener for cooking and baking and as a vegan alternative to honey, standing in for sugar, simple syrup or maple. A little settling is normal over time and does not affect the flavour.
