Longmorn 14 Years Old 1975 (Gordon & MacPhail)

Gordon & MacPhail, the Elgin house founded in 1895, held some of the deepest Longmorn stocks of any bottler. This 14 Year Old is a 1975 vintage matured in Oloroso, an outturn of 360 bottles, a younger sherried Longmorn from the Elgin house.

Fourteen years in Oloroso lent dried fruit through the cask's melanoidins over the rich spirit.

At 40% it shows sherried dried fruit over Longmorn's fruit, a gentle younger sherried style. A 1975-vintage Longmorn.
