Description

Gordon & MacPhail, the Elgin house founded in 1895, held some of the deepest Longmorn stocks of any bottler. The Connoisseurs Choice range introduced a generation to rare single malts; this 25 Year Old is a 1955 vintage Longmorn, bottled in 1980.

Twenty-five years in ex-Bourbon rounded the rich Speyside spirit, the American oak giving vanilla and a soft creamy sweetness while the years built depth.

At 40% it shows the gentle, fruity maturity of a great old Speyside. A 1955 Connoisseurs Choice.
